Having previously engaged FloElen Construction to carry out a small renovation project in 2014 the homeowners had no hesitation in again contacting FloElen when they decided to renovate and extend their kitchen/diningroom area.  Originally built in the late 1990’s this home, although spacious and bright had a kitchen/diningroom area which was quite small.  The original area wasn’t much more than 20 square metres in size and the aim of the project was to double this area and introduce as much natural light as possible.  So, in February 2017 we commenced the complete renovation of their kitchen/diningroom including the construction of a 20 square metre extension.

The major works on the project included, removal of existing rear kitchen wall, installation of new wall & roof steel beams, construction of blockwork extension, insulation fitted throughout to meet current building regulations, vaulted roof, feature exit screen and the all-important overhead triangular window and roof lights for the much-needed additional daylight.  Following the construction and renovation a complete new kitchen was fitted and the area was tiled and decorated.
